Meet your vocality as a doorway toward playfulness and creativity. Meet your inner sonic landscapes. Use imagination and sound as a way of connecting to yourself and interacting with others.
SONG WEAVING. Singing, sounding and vocal improvisation.
SONG WEAVING is an invitation to singing, weaving of sounds, songs and vocal compositions. Through dedication and engagement into vocal practices we will seek to create a magic carpet of song and sound and set it to fly.
Guided by Agnieszka Kazimierska the participants will explore their sonic inner landscapes and harmonic resonances. We will sonically thread and weave, we will launch and trace the threads, invite them to dance and to intertwine.
The encounters are organized with the intention of introducing enriching practices that spark up creativity and nourish our capacity to feel. Working with our senses, with imagination and playfulness, and with sound as a main channel of communication and interaction we will seek to create an ephemeral moment of shared beauty.
Agnieszka will propose simple tools to engage in vocal improvisation that do not require any prior musical education.
During the encounters you will explore:
Centering yourself through the use of sound
Using sound as a way to connecting to yourself and to another
Relation between the sound and perception
The importance of intention when emitting sound
Connection between the sound and movement
How sound can enhance your playfulness and imagination
Part of the sonic material will be proposed by Agnieszka, part will be developed during guided vocal improvisations, and another part will come from the songs brought by the participants.*
This is a space for everyone interested in human vocality: professional singers, nonprofessional singers, non-singers who want to vibrate and resonate with others.

INNER CHARACTERS - Work sessions on acting and physicality in live performance
We are many. And we change. Each one of us - not a singular “I”, but a space of dynamic interplay of diverse roles and identities. Some of them are more known and we inhabit them as our daily personas, others are more withdrawn, hiding in the shadows, shy, or banned from showing up.
The proposed work sessions are an invitation to meet and play with our diverse inner characters. During the workshop we will approach such elements as: tempo-rhythm of behavior and thought processes, the physicality of the characters and work on short theatrical compositions: individually or in groups.
The workshop is addressed to actors, students of acting, and all those who would like to explore their own inner characters through creative, theatrical work.
The participants will be asked to prepare individual “acting scenes” for the work, prior to the beginning of the workshop.

These two 2-hour work sessions are an invitation to enjoy sound and movement and their ample possibilities for providing connection - to oneself, and to others.
Going beyond the affirmed canons of musical and vocal practices we will approach the body's capacity to feel and invite our voice to live and play for a moment, together with others, away from the constriction of “doing it right”.
The encounter is an invitation into a study of your own vocality as a doorway towards playfulness, creative imagination, connection and perhaps recognition of inner sonic landscapes that dwell within each human being.
During those two meetings we will explore: texture of the sound, connection between sound and imagination, movement, intention, and a desire to communicate.
Parts of the sessions will be dedicated to singing and other parts to a variety of vocal explorations and improvisations.
The workshop is addressed to anyone interested in personal exploration of sound and singing.

Conocer y aceptar lo frágil, lo vulnerable o lo tímido que hay en nosotrxs puede ser una potente fuente de poder personal, autonomía y autoridad. Te invitamos a acercarte suavemente a tu vulnerabilidad a través de la atención, el movimiento y el sonido.
En este primer encuentro de una serie de talleres online de Los Ríos Del Canto, hablaremos y exploraremos de manera práctica la vulnerabilidad. En la vida, en el escenario, en las relaciones.
Basándose en su experiencia como actrices, cantantes y terapeutas integrales, en esta sesión Catalina y Agnieszka te invitan a dar espacio y acercarte a tus partes crudas y desterradas, para suavemente dar voz a las emociones, sensaciones, intuiciones y sentimientos silenciosos.
En una cultura que fácilmente nos empuja a crear fronteras, a enmascararnos, a construir muros impermeables desde la necesidad de protección, desde la necesidad de resistir las adversidades, desde la dinámica incuestionable de la rivalidad y la competencia, un espacio, un momento compartido en el que uno puede ser vulnerable frente a otrx puede ser fuente de un hermoso alivio, y de una lenta recuperación de la fuerza y la autonomía personales.
