LOS RÍOS DEL CANTO
Los Rios Del Canto generates contexts for encounters through live arts, where the participants can engage in personal, organic, and intuitive ways through the live arts. We seek to revoke among the participants the circulation of pleasure, the repressed, the sacred and the earthly, that is to say, the human.
We work through song, word, sound, and movement. Our main background is a field of performing arts and psychosomatic practices that integrate the functioning of our bodies and minds. We use theatrical tools to reconnect singing to intentions and to the organicity between doing and feeling. We see art as a possibility of healing, as a possibility of personal development.

We accompany other human beings on their own creative paths, giving rise to the creative nature that dwells within each of us. That's why our approach emphasizes the connection between creation and the inner world of the human being.
Los Ríos Del Canto is a project centred around performing arts as means for artistic expression, creative encounter and personal investigation created by Agnieszka Kazimierska (Poland) and Catalina del Barrio (Argentina). Our mission is to integrate, heal, and create in the world in harmony with the divine calling that dwells within each person.
Who we are
We are Agnieszka (Poland) and Catalina (Argentina). We both have in-depth experience in performing practices with a theoretical background based on years of investigation, studies and practice. We integrate tools from the fields of music, dance, theater, pedagogy, tantra and psychotherapy. We tour across countries and cities, offering interdisciplinary performances and workshops. We are also cultivating an artistic collaboration between us that includes singing, acting, movement, and writing.
What do we offer
We host participatory events, in-person and online workshops, and retreats. Our current focus is on two live events: Workshop Canto y Cuerpo Ancestral and the Fiesta Cantada: una experiencia comunitaria musical (Singing Feast: a musical community experience).
During the intensive group workshop we teach responsorial songs from around the world and develop creativity through vocal improvisation and free, organic movement. We offer vocal, theatrical, and somatic practices to reconnect with pleasure, play, and creative capacity through the body and voice.
The Fiesta Cantada is a participatory musical event where we invite participants to immerse themselves in the magic of collective singing and co-create the celebration through singing and dancing. Each person engages in a playful dialogue, co-creating collectively. Play, human contact, and celebration are at the heart of this gathering.
In a rigid and armored world, singing combined with free movement becomes a crack, an opening through which we can express ourselves and co-create collectively.
